SRF data reveals ANC voters view the GNU as vital for stability and prosperity, with 79% saying it is essential for South Africa to succeed.

Data from the Social Research Foundation (SRF) shows that ANC voters overwhelmingly support the GNU.
The data, drawn from a 2025 survey, showed that 20% of ANC voters believed the GNU was a mistake, compared to 79% who believed the GNU “is essential for South Africa to succeed, it brings stability and a better chance of service delivery [and that] the GNU must succeed if South Africa’s future is going to be prosperous.”
