Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran is developing intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching major U.S. cities. Speaking in an interview with commentator, Ben Shapiro, Netanyahu said Iran’s missiles already have an 8 000-kilometre range and could extend to 11 000 kilometres, threatening the US East Coast.
He described Tehran’s leadership as irrational and hostile, accusing it of seeking the capability to: “blackmail any American city.” Netanyahu also highlighted US–Israel defense co-operation, saying both nations are developing unmatched offensive weapons.
On the Gaza conflict, Netanyahu said the war’s end was near but could not conclude while Hamas remained in power. There are 48 hostages that remain in Gaza.
