The Proteas Women have gone to the top of the table after beating Pakistan in the Women’s World Cup. In a rain-affected match the Proteas scored 312/9 in 40 overs in Colombo. Pakistan were set a Duckworth-Lewis target of 234 in 20 overs but came nowhere close, making 83/7. South Africa is now top of the log with one game to play, against Australia.
