ANC voters are split on whether circumstances in the country will be better in 10 years’ time than they are today.
According to a poll conducted by the Social Research Foundation (SRF) earlier this year, 32% of ANC voters said they thought the country would be a much better place to live in 10 years from now. Nine percent said they thought it would be somewhat better. In total, therefore, 41% of ANC voters had a positive outlook on the future of the country.
Thirty percent of ANC voters, however, thought conditions would be much worse 10 years from today and 5% thought conditions would be somewhat worse. In total, therefore, 35% of ANC voters had a pessimistic outlook on the future of the country.
