Cricket South Africa has announced the South Africa A squads for a multi-format tour of India later this month, confirming that Dolphins batter Marques Ackerman will captain both the four-day and one-day teams.

The tour is being positioned as a crucial opportunity to strengthen South Africa’s player pipeline and provide valuable match experience in subcontinental conditions. Test captain Temba Bavuma has been named in the squad for the second four-day fixture as part of his carefully managed return to competitive cricket following a period on the sidelines.
