The Limpopo High Court has handed down a damning judgment against a man who shot and killed his wife during a church service, describing the murder as brutal and calculated.

The court heard the accused opened fire in front of congregants before fleeing the scene. He was later arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment, with the court also declaring him unfit to possess a firearm.
