Over 600 guests and staff have been evacuated from affected rest camps in Kruger National Park after heavy rainfall and flooding in Limpopo and Mpumalanga disrupted roads and access routes inside the park.

SANParks and media reports say some gates were closed and restrictions imposed as rivers overflowed, with access to be reviewed as conditions change and safety assessments are completed.
