SRF Polling to be Released Soon

New polling by the Social Research Foundation (SRF), conducted in conjunction with The Common Sense, is due to be released within the next few weeks, and will exclusively be covered by The Common Sense.
The data will show party support levels for South Africa as a whole, and will also provide information on party support in three key metros – Johannesburg, Tshwane, and eThekwini.
The poll has also tracked the skyrocketing support for Patrice Motsepe as the potential next leader of the African National Congress (ANC).
The SRF data also provides information on favourability ratings for prominent South African politicians.
Data on who South Africans would like to lead the two biggest political parties in the country – the ANC and the Democratic Alliance – will also be released.
Other data, on whether South Africans think the country is moving in the right or wrong direction, is also due to be reeleased. Information on what South Africans think the most pressing issues in the country are will also be covered.

The SRF, in the short time in which it has existed, has established itself as one of the most accurate pollsters in South Africa, and called the final result of the 2024 national election to within roughly a percentage point.
