New SRF polling finds Patrice Motsepe has the strongest favourability among three possible ANC leadership contenders, while Mbalula and Mashatile record higher negative ratings.
Comment from Frans Cronje: Motsepe’s favourability score is equivalent to the joint favourability scores of his rivals and his negative score is low. Should his camp put a serious campaign behind those numbers, no other ANC candidate could possibly hope to catch him.
