Border Clashes Between Thailand and Cambodia Leave Civilians and Soldiers Dead

New fighting along the Thai-Cambodia border has killed seven Cambodian civilians and wounded around twenty others after shells and airstrikes hit villages near contested frontier areas, forcing families to flee homes caught in the crossfire.

Thailand says three of its soldiers have also been killed and dozens injured in the clashes, as both governments trade blame for firing first while regional mediators warn that the escalation could unravel recent ceasefire efforts.
