Centrist-liberal leader Rob Jetten and his party D66 are tied with Geert Wilders’s Freedom Party, each projected to win 26 seats in the Dutch election. Jetten’s party is projected to gain 12 seats, while Wilders lost about 10 seats. With most mainstream parties refusing to join Wilders, Jetten is favoured to form a coalition with the VVD, Labour-GreenLeft, and Christian Democrats, potentially becoming the Netherlands’ youngest prime minister, at 38.
