The family of Emmanuel Mbense, found dead in Duduza Dam in 2022 with blunt force trauma to the head, have renewed their push for justice after dramatic testimony at the Madlanga Commission. Three years passed without answers.

Witness D, a former EMPD officer, alleged Mbense was tortured and that he was ordered to help dispose of the body. AfriForum has demanded action from Ipid, saying arrests should now be imminent.
