Fifty former matric pupils from Baphutheng Senior Secondary School in Limpopo have approached the High Court in Polokwane after their 2024 National Senior Certificate results were withheld over allegations of group copying. The case is being brought with support from Section27.

Section27 says the allegations rest mainly on similarities in answers, with no notes or unauthorised material found and no irregularities recorded by invigilators. The application asks the court to review and set aside the decisions that upheld the findings against the learners.
