The City of Cape Town is inviting residents to have their say on a new mixed-use development planned in Green Point. An Open Day will be held on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the BSG Environmental Education Centre, where the draft concept plan for the 4.5-hectare site at 1 Three Anchor Bay Road will be presented. The proposal includes affordable housing, retail, office space, and community facilities.

This launch marks the start of a non-statutory public comment phase running until 8 December. The City believes unlocking this prime land is essential for economic growth and expanding access to Cape Town’s tourism and business hubs. Feedback from the community will guide the formal planning process due to begin in 2026.
