Hawks Seize R900 000 Drug Haul at Oshoek Border

The Hawks in Mpumalanga have seized mandrax tablets and dagga worth an estimated R900 000 at the Oshoek border post after intercepting a South African registered truck entering from Eswatini on yesterday. The drugs were found concealed in boxes and plastic bags during a search of the vehicle.

Two people were arrested. Officers also confiscated R3200 in cash and 4600 Eswatini emalangeni. The pair are expected to appear in court today.
