Limpopo police have opened a murder case after an unknown man, believed to be about 40, was found stabbed to death in Thohoyandou in the early hours of Sunday 28 December. The body was discovered near Sibasa taxi rank.

Police say the victim suffered stab wounds to the upper body. His identity is unknown.
