A 17-year-old girl from Denstaat village, Alldays, was arrested on attempted murder charges after allegedly pouring hot water on a 20-year-old woman and beating her with a bottle. The incident reportedly followed an argument over photos found on a boyfriend’s phone late Friday night, 7 November.

The victim was hospitalised with serious injuries. Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba confirmed the arrest, adding that the teenager is expected to appear soon in the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court. Further details about bail or court proceedings are yet to be released.
