Matric Learner Dies After Runaway Bus Incident At Hartbeespoort School

A matric learner from Schaumburg Combined School in Hartbeespoort, North-West has died after being struck by a runaway scholar transport bus during chaos at the school on Thursday. Four pupils were hit when the driver sped off, and the Grade 12 girl later died in the hospital.

Gauteng education officials have opened an investigation and deployed psychosocial support teams to the school.
