ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula says the party is confident it will regain its majority, arguing that its recent setbacks are temporary and part of a larger renewal process. He told supporters the ANC is already rebuilding its structures ahead of upcoming elections.

Mbalula said the party expects to climb back above 50%nationally and regain lost ground in key provinces. He insisted the ANC “will come back” and is preparing for what he called a decisive electoral rebound.
