Argentina’s President Javier Milei will not attend the G20 Summit in Johannesburg this month, which could be seen as backing Donald Trump’s boycott. First elected in 2023, the colourful Milei has focused on austerity and deregulation while steering Argentina away from blocs like BRICS.

Foreign Minister Diana Mondino will attend instead.
