Nestlé has recalled a specific batch of its NAN baby formula in South Africa as a precaution over potential contamination concerns linked to an international supplier issue.

The recall affects NAN Special Pro HA 0 to 12, 800g tins, after fears of possible exposure to a toxin associated with Bacillus cereus. Nestlé says no illnesses have been reported locally and consumers can return the product for a refund.
