One Rearrested as Five Fugitives Remain at Large After Lydenburg Escape

Mpumalanga police have rearrested one of six men who broke out of the Lydenburg police cells over the weekend. Officers captured Clayton Flank near a local sports ground after a community tip off, adding an escape charge to his existing case.

Five suspects are still on the run after allegedly smashing through a cell wall using a washbasin. The fugitives face charges including rape, murder and illegal firearm possession, and police have urged residents to report any sightings.
