Parents are demanding accountability after a 10-year-old Grade 5 learner died when a soccer goalpost allegedly collapsed on him during break time at a Tembisa primary school. Emergency services declared the child dead at the scene.

The Gauteng Department of Education and police have launched investigations. Parents say safety standards and communication from the school must urgently be addressed.
