R1.2 Million Scania Impounded After Suspected Stolen Chrome Found

Limpopo police impounded a white Scania truck and side tippers valued at about R1.2 million after stopping it in the Lebowakgomo area with chrome suspected to be stolen.

Two men aged 36 and 42 were arrested when they could not produce documents for the load, estimated at about R150 000. They appeared in Thabamoopo Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
