Police have uncovered a cache of explosives during a routine roadblock in the North West. Officers stopped a vehicle and discovered bags containing explosives and detonators.

Three suspects were arrested at the scene. Authorities say the seizure forms part of ongoing operations targeting illegal mining and organised crime, with the suspects expected to face explosives related charges.
