Rescue teams are continuing the search for a 17-year-old boy who went missing in the surf near the uMdloti tidal pool, north of Durban, on Wednesday.

Two other bathers, aged 18 and 19, were rescued after getting into difficulty offshore. Sea and shoreline searches are continuing, involving lifeguards, rescue crews, police, and emergency services.
