Police say Claudio Neves Valente, 48, the suspect in the Brown University shooting, was found dead in a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The 13 December attack in Providence killed two students and injured nine. Officials say Valente is suspected in the 15 December killing of MIT professor Nuno F G Loureiro. Motive remains unknown.
