Thabo Bester has returned to the Free State High Court for hearings related to his 2022 escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre. His co-accused, Nandipha Magudumana, faces charges including fraud and money laundering. The court will decide whether delays caused by Magudumana’s appeal and Bester's legal representation changes have unduly postponed the trial.
