Thousands of Dinosaur Footprints Discovered on Italian Rock Face

Scientists in northern Italy have discovered thousands of dinosaur footprints preserved on a steep rock face inside Stelvio National Park. Researchers say the site dates back more than 200 million years to the Triassic period.

The tracks were spotted by a wildlife photographer and stretch for several kilometres. Experts say drones will be used to map the site due to its difficult terrain.
