A four-year-old girl was allegedly forced into a washing machine during a home invasion in Hazelmere, KwaZulu-Natal, after suspects reportedly posed as SAPS officers to gain entry.

Reaction Unit South Africa said four suspects displayed SAPS badges, accused a 29-year-old Malawian tuck shop owner of drug dealing, and robbed the home. The machine allegedly could not be switched on. Stolen items reportedly included cash, cigarettes, and a cellphone.
