Rescue teams recovered two bodies from the Hennops River in Centurion after a vehicle was swept away by floodwaters during heavy rain. The bodies were found on 23 December as the search moved downstream.

Reports say the victims were inside the vehicle when it was located and removed. Lyttelton SAPS is investigating the incident.
