Two police officers died in the early hours of today at Nkowankowa police station near Tzaneen. A male officer allegedly shot a female colleague during an argument before turning the gun on himself. Both were declared dead at the scene.

SAPS has launched an investigation and is probing whether the incident was linked to a domestic dispute. The shooting adds to growing concern over violence involving police officers nationwide.
