Police recovered a grey Nissan NP200 reported stolen in Benoni in 2023 during a roadblock at the Middelburg Toll Plaza in Mpumalanga, after stopping the vehicle at about 11.50am on Monday.

A 38-year-old Ethiopian national was arrested after officers found the licence disc had expired and the driver could not produce documentation. He faces a charge of possession of stolen property and is due in court.
