Woman Killed In Fiery Durban Highway Crash

A woman died when a bakkie burst into flames on the M4 near uMhlanga on Wednesday morning. Emergency crews found the vehicle ablaze with two people trapped inside and managed to pull the male driver out before the fire intensified.

Rescuers were unable to reach the female passenger, who was declared dead at the scene. The driver was taken to hospital as police opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
