Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is in London today for meetings with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, France’s President Emmanuel Macron and the Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz. The talks aim to co-ordinate a European position amid reported US pressure on Kyiv to accept concessions in peace discussions with Russia.

Leaders will focus on security guarantees, long-range weapons, and potential European peacekeeping arrangements. Zelensky’s visit follows what he called constructive but difficult negotiations over a US drafted peace plan in Miami.
