Zuma-Sambudla Faces Trial And New Russia Recruitment Claims

MK Party MP and daughter of former president, Jacob, Zuma, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla remains on trial in the Durban High Court on charges of incitement linked to the July 2021 unrest. She has pleaded not guilty, and the terrorism-related case is expected to resume next year.

Police are separately investigating allegations that she helped send 17 South African men to Russia on false promises of security jobs. Several men say they were left stranded, while Zuma-Sambudla insists she was misled and describes herself as the first victim of an elaborate scam.
