Five people were killed after a rescue helicopter crashed near Barafu Camp on Mount Kilimanjaro on Wednesday evening during a medical evacuation mission, according to Tanzanian aviation authorities.

Reports said the dead included two Czech tourists, a Tanzanian doctor and guide, and a Zimbabwean pilot. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the crash.
