Amazon plans to cut up to 30 000 corporate jobs from today, targeting units including HR, operations, devices, services, and parts of AWS, according to people familiar with the move. The cuts equal nearly 10% of Amazon’s roughly 350 000 corporate staff and would be its largest reduction since about 27 000 roles were eliminated in 2022.
