Attempted Murderer Who Escaped 23-Year-Sentence Is Recaptured

Cheshire Police say a prisoner serving a 23-year sentence for attempted murder has been recaptured after absconding from an open prison in Warrington earlier this week.

Kieran Cameron, 43, was reported missing from HMP Thorn Cross on Tuesday evening. Police issued public appeals and released images before confirming he has now been returned to custody.
