Several Arab and Muslim-majority countries say they have agreed to join President Donald Trump’s proposed Board of Peace, saying the initiative should support reconstruction in the Gaza Strip and help advance a lasting settlement.

Reports say the board is being framed as a Gaza focused mechanism, with participating states highlighting priorities such as sustaining a ceasefire, increasing humanitarian access, and co-ordinating rebuilding efforts.
