Police told the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday that they are close to arresting the alleged shooter in DJ Warras’s murder and the girlfriend of the man accused of masterminding the hit. The investigating officer said he knows the shooter’s identity and that the matter is near finalisation.

Victor Majola, 44, faces charges including murder, premeditated murder, and conspiracy to commit murder linked to the killing of Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras, outside the Zambesi Building in the Johannesburg CBD on 16 December 2025. The case was postponed while further evidence is gathered.
