A passenger described being stranded overnight on a Eurostar service after the train halted outside Folkestone late on Tuesday, with power later switched off as travellers waited for hours.

The disruption followed a power supply fault affecting the Channel Tunnel, forcing service suspensions and leaving knock on delays into Wednesday, 31 December 2025. Eurostar says services have resumed but warns of possible last-minute cancellations.
