The family of a teenage girl shot during a cash-in-transit robbery in Thokoza, Ekurhuleni, says they have received no support since the attack. The girl was shot in the chest and is still recovering.

The robbery happened when suspects allegedly rammed an armoured vehicle, disarmed guards, and bombed the cash van before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money. Police are investigating.
