Fire crews in the Western Cape are battling wildfires near Michell’s Pass outside Ceres and at La Motte in Franschhoek, with multiple teams deployed across the Cape Winelands.

Officials say cooler overnight conditions helped slow the fires, with no injuries or property damage reported so far. Monitoring and mop up operations are continuing to prevent further flare ups.
