Four Arrested in Mpumalanga Over Unwrought Gold and Bribery

Four foreign nationals have been arrested in Mpumalanga after police found unwrought gold valued at about R800 000 during a stop on the N12 near Delmas. Officers intercepted a vehicle without registration plates and seized the gold.

Three Mozambican men were arrested for possession and immigration offences. A Zimbabwean man was later arrested after allegedly offering a R5 000 bribe at a police station.
