Four men were rescued after their ski boat became trapped at the Grootdraai Dam spillway near Standerton in Mpumalanga, with reports saying the vessel drifted toward the dam wall after a mechanical problem.

Rescuers, including the National Sea Rescue Institute, brought all four safely to shore, where they were checked by emergency services and reported uninjured.
