The Gauteng scholar transport crash death toll has risen to 14 after two more learners died in hospital. The crash happened on Monday 19 January on the Golden Highway near Vanderbijlpark, involving a scholar minibus and a truck.

Police said the driver was arrested after hospital discharge and may face culpable homicide charges.
