Gigaba Appears in Court Today Over Transnet Procurement Case

Former cabinet minister Malusi Gigaba ais set to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court today after being notified by the National Prosecuting Authority to attend and be formally charged in connection with procurement matters at Transnet SOC Ltd. In a statement issued by his private office, Gigaba said he is cooperating fully with the authorities and remains confident in the legal process, adding that his actions in office were guided by “policy, process, and the values of accountability and service.”
