The Knysna municipality has warned that the town has less than two weeks of water supply remaining at current consumption levels, as dam levels continue to fall sharply.

Officials say strict water restrictions remain in force and residents and visitors are urged to reduce usage immediately, with the risk of severe shortages increasing if demand does not drop.
