Kruger Relief Fund Announced to Repair Flood Damaged Park Infrastructure

SANParks will establish a Kruger Relief Fund to help rebuild infrastructure in the Kruger National Park after heavy rain and flooding caused extensive damage. Environment Minister Willie Aucamp announced the fund during a visit to assess conditions.

Aucamp said the fund will support urgent repairs and emergency needs and will be independently audited. He appealed to the public and corporate donors to contribute, noting the full cost is not yet known but expected to be high.
